And speaking of social justice, Gumbo Stomp 2, Cajun dance fundraiser to support rebuild work in New Orleans, is coming right up. The Midway Ramblers Cajun Band will again be headlining this evening of great traditional New Orleans music and eats. The Louisiana relief group that All Saints' has worked with tells us that more than ever, fundraisers like this are essential. They continue to find people living in their gutted, unfinished homes and others with no hope of returning their homes to habitable condition, be it because they've never received government-promised money, or suffered contractor fraud, or, in some cases, had to use the funds for critical medical care for a family member. Premiere of the short documentary film, "Katrina Resurrection" included. Hope you can come!
