Global Grazing! Eat and drink in a schoolyard garden on October 11

Never been to a pop-up restaurant? Here's one that promises to be yummy and will benefit the Academy for Global Citizenship, an innovative public school on Chicago's underserved southwest side where I've recently interned. AGC is partnering with the district to create a replicable model for a whole new standard for lunchroom food, through an organic food pilot program (and you never met a better smelling school cafeteria). At Global Grazing, a gaggle of Chicago's top sustainable chefs, including Bill Kim, Stephanie Izard and Nicole Pederson, will be presenting mighty tempting food and drink, right in the schoolyard garden.  For tickets:
